I say “For Women Only” as a warning for the guys, because as soon as they see the word “maxi pad” they are going to go hitting that back button so fast it isn’t funny.
I really debated about blogging about this because of the google adsense on here - it is very intuitive regarding ads it puts up that match up to a blog. So just for the fun of it ladies, let’s see if we get any funny ads and if you see one please click on it so I at least get the satisfaction of the cent or two I get.
Okay ladies, here is my little rant for the day……
Who would still buy – on purpose mind you – maxi pads that are not the ultra thin? I swear they must only still make them, because they get bought by accident SO MUCH. They must think someone still really wants them. The problem is, you only realize you bought the wrong kind when you are in a jam, then you have to use them. Do they really think people still consciously buy them????
Last night I went to open my new package of feminine products and thought, “Good grief, these seem to be stuck together….huh, what the $!*@!”. I didn’t even know they still made those things - it never occurred to me that I needed to not only choose, size, wings, length, etc. but also look for the “ultra thin” on the package. I thought that was just a given in this day and age. Hell, the Swiffers I buy are thinner than these things!
Yes, I was then in a jam, had no choice but to use the “mattress” and now I guess I have perpetuated the myth that women still want these.
So ladies, beware. If you are in a hurry, shopping with your husband with you who is standing there tapping his foot and you feel pressured to make a quick selection, make sure you check twice. This is obviously something I could never send him to the store for (my husband would actually go for me if I asked) - if I can’t even get it right, he’d be totally lost!
