Time for our next installment, but a couple things I thought I’d mention first. A lot of people are looking for a full band list for the Denver Warped Tour leg. The list on the official Warped Tour site is pretty annoying since you have to filter through all the dates.
I have listed all the bands here. You can also purchase your tickets there if you haven’t gotten them already. I know many people like to have an actual ticket - and not the printed out version from your computer. You can still do that purchasing them online - in fact, it’s cheaper because you pay no shipping. I have never had issues getting my tickets through the mail. Also, if you purchase online right now you get a free itunes song for every ticket purchased.
The first band we are going to preview is August Burns Red. First off - guys, update your website. If you are going to have a website, keep it updated and don’t put “find it on our myspace page” but then have no link. These guys are considered metal/hardcore and if you like the growling type music, you’ll like these guys. We just had a hard time telling one song from the next. They all sounded the same.
Next is on the COMPLETE opposite of the spectrum. So we thought it would be funny to review Jeffree Star next.
Style of music is electro/pop. Not our style at all and seems it would fit more in a dance club - not picturing him outside at Warped Tour. Not sure how he’ll keep the makeup fresh in the heat. We will pop by to see him just because he makes a gorgeous
girl.
Next up is Story of the Year. This band is really different. The first song we listened to, Dylan said they reminded him of the All American Rejects - which kinds of ruins it for me because I’m not a huge fan. The second song was like it was a different band. A bit of the growling going on. They are all over the place. Almost like two different bands. I’m mixed on these guys. We might put them on the list if it works out.
Say Anything. Dylan and I are trying to determine if we are just in a bad mood today. Nothing has made us go, “they’ve got to go on the list!”. Sorry, I know they have a lot of fans out there, but we just couldn’t get into them. Another band we briefly touched on was The Devil Wears Prada. Hardcore/metal/Christian???? 
Okayyyyyy…….
Last this round is Against Me!. They will definitely be on our list as their music is a lot of fun. Dylan liked them, and considering the moods we must be in today, that’s good. Not to mention, we are already somewhat familiar with their music anyway. So maybe that’s cheating a little too…..
