So summer vacation has officially started. It’s a little strange because both Shane and I are working from home. Shane is down in his basement office, and I’m up on the second floor.
What’s odd is that every day now feels like a weekend day. We are all here. Weird, but really nice.
I do need to get Dylan out of his pajamas earlier in the day, but then again, he is a teenager, or as he likes to put it now, a “Freshman”. No more numbers explaining what grade he’s in. That seems to be a big mile stone.
I keep thinking someone’s going to wake me up - this seems too good with both of us working from home.
We now only have 5 more weeks until the car rental business is officially closed. But only two more weeks until the last rental of the Porsche and then I get to trade that baby in for a car for ME. I already know what I want and we think we’ve located one. I’ll blog about that later. Once I have it - in hand. Can’t wait. Some think I’m crazy since apparently a Porsche is their dream car, but me….no. Not in the least.
So, summer has started. Off to a rocky start (Memorial Day here in Colorado was cold, rainy, overall horrible), but things are looking up and most importantly, warmer!
