Every year we try and go to a concert at Red Rocks Ampitheater just outside of Denver. In my opinion, it’s one of the ultimate places to see a concert. Last year we saw Rise Against and it was incredible. This year, next week to be exact, we will be seeing Stone Temple Pilots.
The reason why Red Rocks is such a great venue is first, the surroundings of the rocks and then also the views. Once it gets dark you can see all of the Denver city lights.
I can’t say they would have been my first choice to see, but I like their music and there was really nothing else coming up at the venue that I was excited about. Since they haven’t been together in a while hopefully it should be pretty good. We’ll see if they can get it together.
