It’s been a bit since I posted due to the fact that Dylan and I left for Wisconsin for a bit of a family reunion. I’ll have to say, even though it’s been hot here in Colorado, I’m glad to be back to the sunnier, drier weather. It is beautiful in Wisconsin though - so green. That part I do miss. But it rained a lot and was humid.
So this is the first time I’ve been around my 2 older sisters and older brother since getting my big tattoo. In fact, they didn’t even know about it until I sent them a link to my website a few weeks ahead of time, just to get it over with.
My brother then said he had something “special” planned to celebrate my tattoo. I had a pretty good idea of what it was and I was right - he had bought temporary tattoos for all of them to put on. He had planned to secretly have everyone put one on before we went to the beach (lake beach…..), but he misplaced them.
He did end up finding them though, and after an evening of a few drinks, tattoos went on everyone - even my sister-in-laws parents - who were great sports.
The funniest though was my older sister who didn’t want to put on the tattoo that was left - a huge butterfly. There was no way my other sister and I were going to let her get out of it, so while Vicki sat on her and pinned her hands down, I plastered the big butterfly between her boobs. It was pretty funny and she wasn’t too terribly mad, although the video Dylan took of the whole incident might change that……
